Our cabin makes a superb base camp for biking, hiking, skiing, fishing, wildlife viewing, and much more.

Whether for a romantic getaway or a vacation for you and your kids, our 3 bedroom/2 bath home is neither too big or too small. Stretch out on the deck and enjoy the crisp clean mountain air. Curl up with a book by the wood-burning fireplace. Bring a video or DVD or enjoy the ones provided, cook a gourmet meal and enjoy it inside or on the covered deck. Let Colorado's mountains do what they do best — refresh your soul!

The last 10 minutes from Highway 9 to the home is on an improved, but unpaved road (CR14) that is maintained and plowed by the county. A 4WD vehicle (like a truck or SUV) from Oct-April is a necessity, because of the unpredictibility of snowstorms in the mountains.

The kitchen if fully-equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. Pots/pans and cooking utensils, as well as dishes are included. There's a bar with 2 stools and a dining table with 4 chairs, all with beautiful views of Sheep Mountain and Mt. Sherman. Enjoy a sunset over the mountains while eating dinner.

The bedrooms are very comfortable with new queen mattresses in 2 of the bedrooms and a twin bed and futon in the third bedroom for the kids. The master bathroom has a shower, and the other bathroom has a tub/shower. Wake up to a view of the sunrise glow over the mountains, enjoy the peace and quiet, and open the windows for to breathe deep the cleansing, crisp, mountain air.
